Frequently Asked Questions

If you have questions about Radnor Run, here's everything you need to know.

Register online by clicking REGISTER at the top of the page. Consider if you will participate as an individual or if you will create or join a team. Register to participate in the 5 mile race, 2 mile trail hike or 1 mile run.

RACE TEAMS: At least three people are needed to form a team in the 5-mile race. However, teams may have more than 3 people. Using the cross-country method to calculate team time, the times of the top 3 runners on your team will be calculated to get your team time. Awards will be presented to the fastest three teams. Awards will also be presented to Top Friends & Family Fundraising Team and Top Corporate Fundraising Team.

SCHOOL TEAMS: Organize your school to participate. All registered participants will be counted- including 5-Mile, 1-Mile and volunteers - for eligibility for Top School Trophy. This is a traveling trophy which the winning team will house at their school for the year.

FITNESS CENTER CHALLENGE: The fitness center who brings out the most registered participants (runners, walkers, volunteers included) will be awarded the traveling Fitness Center Challenge Trophy at the Awards Ceremony.

CORPORATE GYM CHALLENGE: The company gym who brings out the most registered participants (runners, walkers, volunteers included) will be awarded the traveling Corporate Gym Challenge Trophy at the Awards Ceremony.

TEAM-BUILDING: Brochures, posters and fundraising tips are available to help you. Contact us to request materials. If you have questions about teams or registration, contact Caroline Hutchison.

Dollars raised through the 47th Annual Radnor Run will support lung disease education, advocacy and research in Greater Philadelphia. These efforts include research through the University of Pennsylvania (Hersh Sagreiya, MD | American Lung Association), The Wistar Institute (Mohamed Abdel-Mohsen, PhD | American Lung Association), Thomas Jefferson University (Megumi Shigematsu, PhD | American Lung Association) and our Airways Clinical Research Center at Temple Lung Center. 90 cents of every dollar raised by our organization goes directly to education, research and advocacy. The American Lung Association holds a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, a Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar, and is a member of the National Health Council.
